Witnesses to the Light

God's light shone out in Jesus, who in turn gives light to each of us. How are we taking that light into the world? 

Listening to each other's experiences will call us to an intentionality of life that is 'ministry'.

Sarah Quiroga shines the light of God to help others via several church ministries and along the way notices that God moves in mysterious ways, but He sometimes uses a minivan.



Susan Gibbons talks about how being hit by a bus brought her environmental work into greater focus.

Welcome to St. Mark’s!

We are a congregation who come from 27 different communities in the area because we find the worship and the companionship worth the drive.  We welcome all people who are, like us, interested in learning to be effective followers of Jesus Christ. 

We gather to worship using materials from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer,  Enriching Our Worship (approved additions to the Book of Common Prayer) and, on occasion, from Iona Abbey and the Anglican Church.  We are not a ‘white-gloves-and-three-piece-suit’ kind of folk when we gather, “office casual” probably best describes the way we dress for worship.

Though we come from different communities and have a wide variety of backgrounds we enjoy each other’s company both at the Sunday morning “Coffee Break” (9am) and in intentional education classes September through June.
