ST. MARK'S WORSHIP

Service Schedule

Worship at 8:00 and at 10:15 every Sunday.
A Christian Formation Hour at 9:05 with classes for all.

To expand the Christian education program and make it possible for more of the congregation to participate fully in worship services, beginning in September, 2007, the Sunday Morning worship schedule was revised to the following:

8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist, Rite II
9:05 a.m. Christian formation for children and adults
10:15 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II with organ and choir

Hospitality Hour, during which coffee and refreshments are served, is enjoyed following each service.

Members play active roles in the service through altar guild, flower guild, ushers, greeters, acolytes, lay readers, prayer leaders, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Sunday School teachers and choir members.

St. Mark’s was founded by a group of Episcopalians who wished to read Morning Prayer, and to many this is still an important part of the liturgy. Today our worship includes both the Holy Eucharist and Morning Prayer. In keeping with the tenets of the Book of Common Prayer, Holy Eucharist is the primary service on Sunday while the Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer services are enjoyed during the week.
